Privacy Notice

Slim Body & Face Aesthetics ("we", "us"), located in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your personal data under Mexican data protection law.

1. Data we collect

When booking an appointment, messaging us on WhatsApp, or contacting us through the site, we may collect: name, phone number, email, preferred location, treatment of interest, appointment history, and the messages you send us. If you share before/after photos for follow-up or promotional purposes, we treat them as sensitive data and only use them publicly with your express authorization.

2. Purpose

• Schedule, confirm, reschedule and follow up on your appointments (Google Calendar) and maintain your client record (internal database).
• Contact you via WhatsApp, email or phone regarding your appointment — including automated reminders.
• Respond to inquiries sent through our contact form or WhatsApp.
• Send you promotions, only if you opted in to receive them.
• Measure the performance of our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns, if you browse our site with cookies or pixels active.

3. WhatsApp and Meta

We use WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to communicate with you about your appointments. Messages you send via WhatsApp are processed through Meta's infrastructure under Meta's own privacy policy. We only use that conversation's content to serve you — not for purposes unrelated to your appointment, and we never sell it.

4. Cookies and advertising

If you arrived from a Meta ad, our site may use the Meta Pixel to measure that campaign's effectiveness. You can control this information from your Meta account's ad settings.

5. Third parties that process your data

To run the spa we use service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (client and appointment database), Google Calendar (scheduling for both locations), and Meta/WhatsApp Business (messaging). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties outside these purposes, except as required by law.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as you maintain an active relationship with the spa (appointments, inquiries), plus any additional period required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data at any time, per the rights section below.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as to request its deletion. To exercise these rights, email us at slimspaplaya@gmail.com.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice. Any changes will be posted on this same page.
